Website Photography
Your website is the first place parents look to see what your school is like. Bright, sharp, detailed images full of smiley, happy people are the best feature your site can have to show what your school is really like. Having worked in schools for years, I know what shots show off your curriculum, your wonderful team and pupils to prospective parents.

Prospectus Images
High quality images for print materials help mirror the high quality education and standards of schools. Book photography half or full days to capture all your unique selling points, enthusiastic team, and joyful pupils which encapsulate what your school is all about.

Special Event Photography
It all begins with an idea. It develops into a full event that involves school teams, parents, children and the wider community. Book a photographer to help capture all the magic of your event and use the high quality photos on the school’s social media, website, prospectus, newsletters or even the local media.
Your school's photography is often the first impression parents, prospective staff and visitors have of your community. Whether they're browsing your website, reading your prospectus or scrolling through social media, the images they see should capture far more than classrooms and corridors. They should communicate your ethos, showcase everyday learning and help people understand what makes your school unique.
At Biopic Photography, I work with primary schools, secondary schools and Multi Academy Trusts across Warwickshire and beyond to create natural, engaging photography that represents schools honestly. As a former headteacher with almost twenty years in education, I understand how schools work, how to minimise disruption to learning and how to create images that support both your marketing and your safeguarding responsibilities.
From vibrant classroom learning and outdoor activities to leadership portraits, school facilities and curriculum enrichment, every photograph is carefully planned to tell the story of your school. The result is a professional library of high quality images that can be used across your website, prospectus, recruitment campaigns, newsletters, social media and promotional materials for years to come.
Whether you're refreshing an outdated website, launching a new prospectus, preparing for an open evening or strengthening your trust's brand, I'd be delighted to help your school present itself with confidence.

Why schools choose Biopic Photography
Choosing a school photographer is about far more than finding someone who can take beautiful pictures. It's about finding someone who understands how schools work.
Before becoming a professional photographer and videographer, I spent almost twenty years working in education, including four years as a headteacher. That experience means I understand the pressures schools face every day, from safeguarding and consent to busy timetables, inspections and ensuring every child is represented positively.
When I visit your school, I work alongside your staff to make the day as smooth as possible. Lessons continue with minimal disruption, pupils remain engaged in their learning and photography is carefully planned around the rhythm of the school day.
Rather than relying on posed images, I focus on capturing genuine moments of learning, curiosity and achievement. The result is a collection of natural photographs that reflect the real character of your school and provide an authentic insight for prospective parents, pupils and staff.
Every school is different. That's why I take time to understand your values, your curriculum and what makes your community unique before picking up the camera. Whether you're a village primary school, a large secondary school or part of a Multi Academy Trust, the final images are tailored to tell your story, not someone else's.
As education continues to evolve, so too do expectations around safeguarding and the use of pupil images. I keep these considerations at the heart of every project, helping schools create photography that is engaging, inclusive and appropriate for today's digital world.
Ultimately, my aim is simple: to create photography that your pupils enjoy being part of, your staff are proud to share and prospective families instantly connect with.

School Website Photography
Your school website is often the first place prospective parents, carers and staff go to learn about your school. Within seconds, the photographs on your homepage begin telling a story. If those images are outdated, heavily posed or no longer reflect life at your school, they can create the wrong first impression.
Professional school website photography helps visitors experience the warmth, ambition and opportunities your school provides before they even step through the gates. Bright, authentic images of pupils learning, collaborating and enjoying school life help families picture their own children becoming part of your community.
Rather than staging every photograph, I focus on capturing genuine moments throughout the school day. From engaging classroom lessons and practical learning to outdoor play, performances, sport and enrichment activities, the aim is to build a diverse library of natural images that showcase every aspect of school life.
Many schools are also taking the opportunity to review older website photography. As guidance around safeguarding, consent and the responsible use of pupil images continues to evolve, refreshing your photography ensures your website reflects your school as it is today while supporting your wider safeguarding responsibilities.
Every photography session is carefully planned with your leadership team to minimise disruption to lessons while ensuring all key areas of the school are represented. By the end of the day, you'll have a comprehensive collection of professionally edited images ready to use across your website, newsletters, social media, recruitment campaigns and other marketing materials.
Whether you're launching a new website, preparing for an open day or simply recognising that your current photographs no longer represent your school, investing in updated school website photography is one of the most effective ways to communicate your values and make a lasting first impression.
School Prospectus Photography
Your school prospectus is much more than an information booklet. It's an opportunity to introduce prospective families to your school, communicate your values and showcase the opportunities available to every child.
Strong prospectus photography helps bring those words to life. Natural, engaging images allow parents to see children immersed in learning, building friendships, developing confidence and enjoying the experiences that make your school unique. Rather than relying on stock images or outdated photographs, a professionally planned photoshoot creates a collection of authentic images that genuinely reflect everyday life within your school.
Whether you're producing a printed prospectus, an interactive digital version or supporting materials for open evenings and admissions events, I work with your leadership team to ensure the photography complements your branding and key messages. Together, we'll identify the areas of school life you want to highlight, from inspiring classroom learning and outdoor education to music, sport, the arts and wider enrichment opportunities.
The same professionally edited images can also be used across your website, newsletters, social media, exhibition displays and promotional materials, giving your school a consistent visual identity across every platform.
Many schools choose to combine website and prospectus photography into a single photography day, creating a comprehensive image library that can support marketing and communications for several years. This approach offers excellent value while ensuring every publication presents a consistent and up to date picture of your school.
Whether you're launching a brand new prospectus, refreshing your admissions materials or simply replacing photographs that no longer represent your school, professional prospectus photography helps create a lasting impression and gives prospective families confidence in the community they're considering joining.

School Recruitment Photography
Recruiting outstanding teachers and support staff has never been more important. Before submitting an application, many prospective employees will visit your website, browse your social media and research your school to understand its culture and values. The images they see play a significant role in shaping that first impression.
Professional recruitment photography helps tell the story of your school as a place where people enjoy working, feel supported and make a genuine difference. Authentic photographs of staff collaborating, pupils engaged in learning and the wider school environment help potential applicants imagine themselves becoming part of your team.
Rather than using staged staff photographs alone, I create a collection of natural images that showcase the relationships, teamwork and positive atmosphere that define your school. Whether it's teachers working alongside pupils, colleagues collaborating in professional development or staff supporting children beyond the classroom, the aim is to present an honest and welcoming picture of daily life.
Many schools choose to combine recruitment photography with staff headshots and promotional video, creating a consistent set of marketing assets for recruitment campaigns, vacancies, social media, careers pages and trust-wide communications. Together, these resources help schools promote not only what they do, but why talented professionals should want to work there.
As a former headteacher, I understand what schools are looking for when attracting new staff and the importance of portraying an authentic working environment. Recruitment photography isn't about creating an unrealistic image. It's about helping prospective colleagues see the values, opportunities and sense of community that make your school a rewarding place to build their career.
Whether you're recruiting teachers, support staff, leaders or early career professionals, professional photography can help your school stand out and encourage the right people to take the next step.
Looking to strengthen your recruitment campaign even further? Combine your photography with a professional school promotional video featuring authentic staff and pupil voices to give prospective families and applicants an even greater insight into your school. Multi Academy Trust Photography
Creating a strong and consistent visual identity across a Multi Academy Trust requires more than simply photographing individual schools. It means capturing the unique character of each academy while presenting a shared vision that reflects the trust's values, culture and ambition.
I work with Multi Academy Trusts to create professional photography that can be used across trust websites, individual school websites, recruitment campaigns, annual reports, marketing materials and social media. From classroom learning and leadership teams to trust-wide events and curriculum showcases, every image is created with both the individual school and the wider trust in mind.
Having worked with trusts including Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, The Dunstan Catholic Education Trust and Archway Learning Trust, I understand the importance of maintaining consistency across multiple schools while celebrating what makes each community unique. Every project is carefully planned to minimise disruption, coordinate photography across several sites where required and deliver a comprehensive image library that can be shared throughout the trust.
Many trusts also choose to combine photography with promotional video, leadership interviews and recruitment campaigns, creating a cohesive collection of visual content that supports school improvement, staff recruitment and public engagement.
Whether your trust is welcoming new schools, refreshing its branding or looking to build a professional library of photography for future communications, I can help create authentic imagery that reflects both the individuality of each academy and the collective strength of your trust.
Safeguarding, Consent and the Responsible Use of School Photography
School photography should inspire confidence, celebrate achievement and showcase the wonderful experiences taking place every day. At the same time, schools have an important responsibility to ensure that photographs are used appropriately and continue to reflect current safeguarding expectations.
As a former headteacher, I understand the importance of balancing effective marketing with the welfare and privacy of every child. That's why safeguarding is considered throughout every photography project, from planning the day to selecting and delivering the final images.
I work closely with schools to ensure photography reflects their own policies regarding consent and image use. Care is taken to photograph pupils appropriately, represent children inclusively and create a balanced collection of images that can be used confidently across websites, prospectuses, social media and other communications.
As technology continues to evolve, many schools are reviewing older image libraries and considering how photographs are used online. Guidance and best practice are developing alongside new technologies, including artificial intelligence, making this an ideal opportunity to ensure your school's photography is current, relevant and appropriate for today's digital landscape.
Refreshing your photography isn't simply about replacing older images. It also provides an opportunity to reflect changes in your school community, curriculum, facilities, branding and staffing while ensuring your visual content continues to represent your school accurately and responsibly.
By combining my experience in education with professional photography, I aim to provide schools with an image library they can use with confidence, knowing it has been created with both marketing and safeguarding in mind.
How a School Photography Day Works
Every school is different, which is why no two photography days are exactly the same. Before I arrive, I'll work with you to understand your priorities, discuss your timetable and agree a plan that captures the very best of your school while keeping disruption to an absolute minimum.
Together, we'll identify the key areas you would like to showcase, whether that's classroom learning, Early Years provision, specialist teaching spaces, outdoor learning, sport, performing arts, leadership, enrichment activities or the wider school environment. If there are particular events or lessons taking place, these can also be incorporated into the schedule.
On the day, I work discreetly alongside staff, moving between lessons and activities without interrupting learning. Rather than asking pupils to stop what they're doing or repeatedly pose for photographs, I focus on capturing genuine moments as they naturally happen. This helps children feel relaxed and results in authentic images that truly reflect everyday life within your school.
Throughout the day, safeguarding, consent and your school's own procedures remain a priority. Photography is planned carefully to ensure pupils are represented appropriately and inclusively, giving you complete confidence in the images you receive.
Following the shoot, every photograph is professionally edited and supplied in a high resolution digital gallery, organised into clearly labelled folders for easy use by your marketing team, office staff or designers. Your new image library will be ready to use across your website, prospectus, social media, newsletters, recruitment campaigns and future marketing materials.
Whether your school requires a half-day refresh or a comprehensive photography project across multiple sites, my aim is always the same: to create a relaxed, enjoyable experience that delivers a professional collection of images with minimal disruption and maximum impact.
