When working with schools, businesses and organisations, safeguarding, privacy and responsible data handling are always a priority.
As a photographer with a background in education, I understand the importance of working in a way that is safe, respectful and aligned with school policies and expectations. Whether capturing school portraits, events or marketing imagery, all work is carried out with full consideration of safeguarding, GDPR and data protection requirements.

Only authorised pupils are photographed in accordance with school permissions

All photography and videography work is carried out in line with UK GDPR and data protection best practice.
Personal data is collected only where necessary
Images are stored securely using encrypted or password-protected systems
Access to images is restricted to authorised individuals
Data is retained only for as long as required
No images are shared with third parties without appropriate consent
This ensures that both organisations and individuals can be confident in how their data is handled.

Schools remain responsible for obtaining parental consent where required
Photography is organised in line with school guidance and safeguarding procedures
Secure, password-protected galleries are used for image delivery
Parents and carers access images directly, reducing unnecessary data handling
No images are used for marketing without explicit permission
This approach keeps processes simple while maintaining a high level of privacy and control.
