How long should a property shoot take?

How long should a property shoot take?

Long enough to do it properly.

There is a clear link between time on site and the quality of the final result.

When things are rushed:

  • Angles are chosen quickly rather than carefully

  • Lighting is accepted instead of shaped

  • Small distractions are left in frame

  • Floor plan details can be overlooked

  • The homeowner feels like part of a process rather than part of the story

When there is time, everything changes.

Time to walk through the property first.
Time to consider how each room flows into the next.
Time to adjust blinds, lamps and styling.
Time to wait for natural light to settle.
Time to check the small details that most viewers will never consciously notice but will definitely feel.

Property photography and videography is not just about turning up and producing images.

It is about presenting someone’s home with care. It is about helping estate agents market confidently. It is about making sure nothing feels hurried.

Good property visuals are rarely about speed.

They are about patience and attention.

If you are selling or marketing a property, what matters more to you: getting it done quickly, or getting it done properly?
